Welcome to Venus Glow Co! I am Laurin. Originally from Nashville, Tn, I have been lucky enough to serve the Encinitas and North County, San Diego area for 10 years.

As a hard-working woman, I know how important having YOU time is. Feeling pampered, heard, and supported in a relaxing ambiance are ideal so you have the energy for whatever the world throws your way.

 I have been in the beauty industry for 10+ years and have never been more in love with my clients or my craft. As an Aveda educated artist, continuing my education and refining my skills are a must. Also, using high quality and eco-friendly products are extremely important, as well as cutting down on as much waste as possible.

I specialize in women’s/men’s/ all gender haircuts, curly hair, balayage, highlights, all-over color, blowouts that last for days, grey blending/root touch-ups, and sew-in beaded row extensions. Whether you are low maintenance and just want a lived-in, brighter beachy look, keeping salon visits down to a minimum or your cut requires more precision, you are welcomed here.

 I am in the business of relationship building, I love connecting community.  I also know when you sit in my chair you’ve got history, hair history. I want to know where your hair’s been and where you want it to go. Let’s collaborate on a plan for total hair happiness together. I always check in with my clients to ensure they’re cut and/or color are satisfactory. 

When I am not at the salon, I am probably teaching or taking yoga. I enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, connecting with nature, and performing music, singing and playing my ukulele.
